DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED BY THE OPERATOR Documents produced by the operator (paragraphs 2. 25– 2. 26 & 4. 1) Essential documents to be prepared by the operator at each stage of the authorization process should be identified in the regulations and guides issued by the regulatory body. Documents of different types are required to be prepared by the operator in discharging its responsibilities with respect to the safety of the facility. • Some are required to be submitted formally to the regulatory body • A second type are reports that should be submitted to the regulatory body periodically, or event, incident or accident reports • A third type of document is for internal use by the operator but should be made available upon request to the regulatory body Drafting School, Vienna, December 2012 Module 4. 10 3
