Main Presentation: Future Skills for Future Higher Education Area: Hybrid Education Guest Speaker: Moderator: Ulf-Daniel Ehlers, Ph. D. Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Dr. Verónica Lunga University of Engineering and Technology He is the elected Vice-president of the European Association for Institutes of Higher Education in his second term and director and member of the executive committee of the European Distance and E-Learning Network. Ulf is a founding member and past President of the European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning. He has served as elected President of the largest Association for E-Learning in German-speaking countries, The Society for Media in Science (GMW e. V. ) Professional psychologist specialized in Organizational Behavior at the University of Brasilia and completed studies for a Master’s Degree in Business at the Female University of the Sacred Heart. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in High Abilities and Inclusive Education at the Technological University TECH (Spain). She has over 25 years of experience in higher education.

Main Presentation: Future Skills for Future Higher Education Area: Hybrid Education Description: The keynote will discuss the new emerging star-concept of future skills in a world of global and digitally transformed societies and present examples of transformative approaches to higher education. It is a matter of felt truth and perceived reality that higher education institutions all around the world have to find an answer to the burning question: How do we contribute to the future transformation of societies visibly expressed in the transformative change of the systems under which we live: planetary and personal health, economy, democracy, and more. While higher education is traditionally set up for working with well-elaborated curricula, more and more providing approaches to solving life challenges will become the focus. The emerging concept of Future Skills is providing answers. It has meanwhile globally contributed to a decisive change of the public discussion about higher education. Instructions: The moderator will introduce the speaker to begin his presentation. The speaker will have 40 minutes for his presentation on: Hybrid Education - Challenges and Perspectives. Recommendations: ➔ ➔ ➔ ➔ Connect 15 minutes before to perform a sound, audio and connectivity pre-test with all designated equipment. Connect to the Internet via direct network cable or check that your computer is the only one connected to the modem. Be in a room with adequate white light and keep a sober background. Keep a meter of distance from the camera to be visible in a medium shot. Wear appropriate clothing when visible on camera (e. g. , do not wear a white shirt on a white background). Always maintain a neat and tidy presentation. Avoid external noises that could interfere with your presentation. Presentation (PPT) We recommend using a PPT for the presentation. If you do not use a PPT, please let the organizing committee know so that they can prepare a back-up presentation. After the presentation: The moderator will introduce the round of questions from the audience. Closure: The moderator will close the presentation by sharing common and joint learning points.
