Our protagonist, a fireman who burns books.

Mildred is Montag’s wife

He is the chief of the firemen, and Montag’s boss
Who is Faber?
Faber is a retired English Professor, an elderly man who (with a little convincing) decides to help Montag.
Who is Granger
Granger is one of the hobos, the one who seems to be in charge, who was a scholar. He explains their way of life to Montag and makes him feel welcome.

The Exposition

The Rising Action
What part of plot are these events from? After the city is destroyed, the hobos and Montag begin to return to the city, and Montag is trying to think of things to say as they return to help in whatever way they can.
