Mittal proprietary information • The cut-edge images and WR and RR evolution of 2 mm thick substrate + ZM 310 were presented after 68 days of SST. • Top side => After 68 days of SST, the top sides of all samples are still covered with WR. – Shear cut => the edge is completely covered with WR immediately after 1 day of SST – WJC => the edge is completely covered with WR after 7 days – Laser cut (O 2) => WR evolved quite quickly, being “ 1” after 2 days and “ 5” after 17 days. – Laser cut (N 2) => the edge is completely covered with WR after 4 days • Left & right side – WR and RR ratings remained almost unchanged until now for all the samples – RR on the left side of the laser cut (N 2) sample is a little bit higher than the rest. • Conclusion after intermediate evaluation – No clear distinction could be made between the cut edge corrosion behaviour of samples with different cutting techniques until now. – The test is still running and more data will be available in the future. 9/17/2021 AMDS - Products Range Management 30
