WHAT IS MAGIC ?

The use of rituals or actions, especially based on supernatural or mysterious knowledge, to manipulate or gain information about the natural world. A specific ritual or process associated with supernatural magic or with mysticism (a spell). Something producing remarkable results, especially when not fully understood (an exceptional skill). A specific kind of special power or ability. A conjuring trick or illusion performed to give the appearance of supernatural phenomena or powers.

THE HISTORY OF ILLUSION MAGIC The first book containing explanations of magic tricks appeared in 1584. During the 17 th century, many similar books were published that described magic tricks. Towards the end of the 19 th century, large magic shows became the norm. During the 19 th and 20 th centuries, many stage magicians even capitalized on this notion in their advertisements.
