TDC meeting February 23, 2017 Full-scale prototype • Testbeam planned for end of year • Optics and detectors ordered • Quartz delivery imminent • Detectors expected with several months • Full batch of electronics currently being developed and produced • Modular by function as current generation • 128 ch NINO board (4 x 32 ch NINO chip) • 64 ch HPTDC board (2 x 32 ch HPTDC, two per NINO board) • Goal for full prototype: 10 detectors, ~5000 channels 6

TDC • Would require support for LVDS • Super. NINO + pico. TDC • New ASICs offer significantly improved performance, and would consequently improve TORCH by a large margin 7
