Instrument Operation Sensor Over Range Should the M 40 encounter a gas concentration above the measuring range of the sensor, the instrument will place a 1 in the left most column of the display. CO H 2 S O 2 LEL Over Range Condition LEL INDUSTRIAL SCIENTIFIC M 40 Note: To clear the over range condition on the LEL sensor, the instrument must be turned off and back on again. 13
