Luke 18: 6 -8 6 And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? " One of the most important factor to a very powerful & effective prayer is Persistence. In fact Jesus equate the Widow’s persistent cry to the unjust Judge, in this passage, as equal to faith. Oftentimes, the bible said that “ we don’t have because we don’t ask” and if we ask, we don’t receive because we lack faith and failed to keep waiting until our prayers are granted. Great Men of Prayer in the Bible are men of Persistence. They PREVAILED until their prayers were granted! prevailed wrestling with an Angel until dawn. That’s until the angel released a blessing to him. His name Jacob(Supplanter, conniver, deceiver, traitor) was Changed by God to Israel (who prevailed with God and men and succeed) 1.
