Pride in Lowestoft-Done • 2018 Summer Festival including ‘Lowestoft Got Talent’ & Big Band Event– funded through WDC, LTC and SCC Cllrs and People Health Lottery. 4 th Year for event. • Royal Green Events notice board erected 2018 • Suffolk Day sports on Beach event-300 children. • Walk in the Park Events May Half term • High Sheriff visit in March and June 2018 – Sam’s Café, Orbis Energy and Food Bank. Sentinel Leisure Facilities. Award Winners too. • LR with Museums- Increased volunteering and activity at all 3 Museums involved in project.

Aspirations – Cultural Education Partnership “LCEP” • The Grit, Grit Fest-Sparrows Nest • Watertight Words, glass topped wall with etching on sea defence • Once Upon a Festival, Orchestra’s Live and Untold Tales –Marina led CEP schools projects • Great Places – joint work with Gt Yarmouth on Culture and heritage • £ 568, 000 worth of project delivery in schools/colleges via LCEP in 2 years.

Case Study : Lottery Success • More than £ 380 k secured from the Big Lottery for Lowestoft • Bid led by Community Action Suffolk and WDC on behalf of Lowestoft Rising • Funding for 3 Community Enablers focussing on Kirkley, Harbour and Kessingland • 3 year project focussing on social action, volunteering and community projects

Case Study : Partnership response • Signpost East-led Food Bank collapsed in November 2017 • Interim solution quickly deployed by Access Community Trust to maintain food bank service across most sites • 22 tons of food moved by volunteers to new storage site • Lowestoft Community Church led project to launch new Food Bank in February 2018 • College and church volunteers working together • 6 day coverage across Lowestoft plus outreach service
