LOVE LIVE’S PLOT Honoka is a girl who loves her school, Otonokizaka Academy. When the school is planned to be closed down for a lack of applicants, Honoka becomes determined to save it. She knows that school idols are popular, so Honoka and her friends start up a school idol group called "μ's“, in order to attract new students. Once they successfully prevent her school from closing, the girls from μ's claim for higher grounds and participate in "Love Live", the ultimate school idol competition featuring the best groups in the country.

HONOKA KOUSAKA Honoka's family owns a Japanese sweets shop. She lives at the back of the shop with her mother, father, and little sister. Since she was young, she is friend to Kotori, and she becomes friend to Umi after inviting her to a game of hide and seek.

KOTORI MINAMI Since she was young, Kotori, Honoka and Umi are good friends. Her mother is the chairwoman of the school board. and she makes dresses for the group.

UMI SONODA Since she was young, Umi is Honoka and Kotori’s childhood friend thanks to Honoka who invited her to a game of hide and seek. She is also a member of the school's archery club, she is quite good at. She believes that Honoka is bossy and pushy but also realizes the perks of having an adventurous friend. Among the members of u’s, Umi takes the role of physical trainer.

HANAYO KOIZUMI Hanayo and Rin are friends since they were children. She has always said she wanted to be an idol.

MAKI NISHIKINO Maki comes from a wealthy family of doctors and she is often pressured to become a doctor like her parents, who would lead her into giving up music.

RIN HOSHIZORA Rin and Hanayo are friends since they were children. She likes playing sports, and she used to dress like a boy. When she was still a child, she was often teased for this reason, so she was not used to wearing skirts and decided she couldn't wear them.

NICO YAZAWA It has been discovered that during her first year in high school she started an idol group. However, one by one the members gave up because Nico's goal to become an idol was too much for them and they couldn't keep up.

ELI AYASE She is russian and she is the president of the students’ council. Her best friend is Nozomi.

NOZOMI TOJOU She is fluent in a few other languages as well, including English. She enjoys helping out at the local Kanda Shrine. Nozomi is Eli's best friend, and she has admitted to Honoka that she has seen Eli's emotional (and embarrassing) side.

Love live! Is a recent manga so it doesn’t have a lot of changements.

DIFFERENCE FROM MANGA AND COMICS

Manga are written from right to left and need to be read from the end. The picture are full of details (for example big eyes) and characters are perfect with imperfection. There aren’t animals like protagonist. Except W. I. T. C. H or other comics (which have Manga’s style) the comics in general are without details and the character are imperfect.
