He wanted to be an explorer after his dad put to much pressure to be a priest He sponsored himself His dad helped him in his explorations because he thought he was to hard on him
North America He found a lot of rivers like the Mesipi river in hope to find a passage way to Asia and the Mississippi River in hope of a safer way to Asia Native Americans were there when he got there The Mesipi River and the Mississippi River have no difference but the Native Americans called it the Mesipi River and Louis Jolliet named it the Mississippi River He found the Mesipi or the Mississippi River in 1673
WHY���� He didn't even know what he was looking for he just found a river and the Native Americans told him it was called the Mesipi Then he decided to say that is "what I was looking for and I found it"
