What are subject pronouns? o Pronouns can take the place of nouns. n o o o Nouns are people, animals, places, or things A subject pronoun will serve as the main actor of a sentence. Remember we use subject pronouns all the time in English. In Spanish, however subject pronouns are only use for emphasis or clarity
Subject Pronouns yo we nosotros nosotras I tú you él, ella, usted familiar he, she, you formal you all (Spain) they, you all vosotros vosotras ellos, ellas ustedes
Singular pronouns they represent one person yo First person singular I tú you él, ella, usted familiar he, she, you formal Second person singular, use to addresses a friend or peer Third person singular Usted “you” for addressing a stranger or someone whose title you see or someone older than you.
