�Commands are used to tell someone what to do or not to do. �There are positive and negative informal commands. �Positive tell people “to do” something �Negative tell people “not to” do something and are identified by the word NO in front of it. �Every command needs and ¡ !

How do I form them? �Affirmative(positive)informal commands are conjugated to the present tense “Ud/él/ella form” of the verb: �¡ Escribe cinco oraciones! �¡ Come mas verduras! Write 5 sentences! Eat more vegetables!

NEGATIVE INFORMAL COMMANDS

Negative commands… �Have “no” in front of them. It means you’re telling someone don’t do something.

To make a regular negative command: � 1. Put the verb in the“yo form” of the present tense � 2. take off the “O”, � 3. add: “opposite ending” + “s”.
