Los Mandatos Afirmativos To create an affirmative tú command form for a regular verb, use the Ud. /El/Ella form of the verb • hablar – habla - ¡habla! – talk! • leer – lee - ¡lee! – read! • escribir – escribe - ¡escribe! – write! Poner and hacer both have irregular affirmative tú command forms: • poner – pone - ¡Pon la mesa! • hacer – hace - ¡Haz la tarea! •
Ejemplos: �¡Escucha a la profesora! – Listen to the teacher! �¡Comparte tus juguetes! – Share your toys! �¡Bebe mucha agua! – Drink a lot of water! �¡Pon tu ropa en el armario! – Put your clothes in the closet! �¡Haz la cama! – Make the bed!
More command forms �In the “tú” commands, there are irregulars in the positive commands: �hacer - haz -do/make �decir – di -say/tell �venir – ven -come �salir – sal –go out/leave tener – ten – have/be poner – pon –put/set ir – ve -go ser – sé -be
