Look closely at the language used to describe Jack: what he does, how he moves, the sounds he makes, the things he is compared with. Draw a table with 2 columns in your exercise books – Quotations and What does it suggest about Jack? - and list the words and phrases that suggest that Jack is changing. Make sure you use direct quotations from the novel. You should find 10 quotes.
