Claims reimbursement Covered expenses Payment Recertification • Reimbursement is based on receipt of itemized invoice or billing statement. • Some riders include a 90 -day deductible, so familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of your policy. ‒ Do not wait for the 90 days to pass. Notify us of claim as soon as care begins. • Clients can submit invoices and have reimbursements electronically deposited into their bank account via EFT. • Payments are made to policyowner unless “assigned” to a third party. – Assignment is made by completing the Assignment of Benefits form for licensed care providers. • Explanation of Benefits is provided with each payment. • The IRS requires a periodic review of eligibility to provide continued benefits. The Insured's diagnosis and prognosis determine the recertification frequency. • The policyowner will receive written notification explaining the process when recertification is due.
