What is a logo? • Symbol that represents the company • Should stand out from other competitors § Different Colors § Different Fonts § Different Shapes/Images • Should be immediately recognizable • Should inspire trust, loyalty and implied superiority
What makes a GOOD logo? § It’s describable § It’s memorable § It’s effective without color § It’s scalable (works when just an inch in size) § It’s relevant to the industry in question
What makes a GOOD logo? § It’s describable § It’s memorable § § § These go hand-in-hand, because if you can’t describe what a logo looks like then how will you be able to remember it? Keep the design simple. Do not use more than two fonts.
