Project Description ● USB Bracket- 7 port hub, vertical mount, cable to retain power, hold 1 to 3 hubs high, operational from 0 -25 degrees celsius, withstand vibration loading
Procedures (1 of 2) ● We created a solidworks file based on the standard of work given on angel ● We were able to create a vertical mount which could be nailed to a wall ● we were able to make USB HUB portable because of the design of the brackets and also create space on it for other features like cable wire
Procedures (2 of 2) ● We were able to keep it in the temperature range ideal for its working. ● We were able to save it from excessive vibrational stress by using the best type of material for this design. ● The material Acrlonitile butadeine styrene (ABS) was used.
Results and Discussion
Conclusions and Recommendations With the versatility of the design dimensions, our design gives users the freedom to add however many hubs they need.
Closing We would like to thank Lockheed Martin for allowing us the opportunity take part in this project.
