EGUSD Strategic Goals High-Quality Classroom Instruction & Curriculum Student Assessment and Program Evaluation Wellness Family & Community Engagement All students will receive high quality classroom instruction and curriculum to promote college and career readiness and close the achievement gap. All students will benefit from instruction guided by assessment results (formative, interim and summative) and continuous programmatic evaluation. All students will have an equitable opportunity to learn in a culturally responsive, physically, and emotionally healthy and safe environment. All students will benefit from programs and services designed to inform and involve family and community partners.

Stakeholder Engagement in the LCAP Development Process • Involvement of the District English Learner Advisory Committee and District Advisory Committee • Site LCAP development processes (updated online site LCAP template) • Involvement of all Bargaining Units • 28, 125 respondents completed the District’s needs analysis survey, and increase of 164% from 2017 -18 • Of the 28, 125 responses, 24, 271 individual written responses were also provided
Minimum Proportionality Percentage • Minimum Proportionality Percentage (MPP): The calculated minimum amount, based upon a district’s unduplicated pupil percentage (UPP), of increased or improved supplemental/concentration services principally allocated toward English Learners, Foster Youth, and Socio-economically Disadvantaged students. • The State has fully funded the LCFF and the calculated MPP value is $64 M.
Supplemental/Concentration Funding 2019 -20 • EGUSD’s 2019 -20 MPP - $64, 212, 133 • Elk Grove currently has allocated $78, 713, 753 in supplemental/concentration funding
Supplemental/Concentration Funding Expenditure Justification • All supplemental actions/services are noted in the District’s LCAP (Demonstration of Increased or Improved Services for Unduplicated Pupils). Justification for each expenditure is made by confirming the following statements: § § Confirmation the action/service is principally directed toward unduplicated student groups Research supporting the implementation of the action/service Confirmation this is an increased or improved level of action/service Confirmation the action/service contributed toward improved student outcomes
