Zero Tolerance Drug/Alcohol Policy Drinking, smoking, and Drugs are a choice. Players on this team who make the choice to attend parties that put themselves at risk will potentially lose their roster spot The school policy requires missed games. The maximum loss of season eligibility will be followed per school policy, plus additional team consequences including more playing time loss, loss of captain title, or removal from the team and loss of letter award. If this is a policy that may be an issue for you then this team is not for you. Your team counts on you to stay safe, stay eligible, and stay within the team policies. Your attendance at tryouts will be your acceptance of this policy.

Tryouts are open to: All interested and academically eligible high school LNHS Students. Returning 8 th grade students who held a roster position last season as a 7 th grader. Other 8 th grade students will be considered at special request if they and their parents believe they are mature enough to handle a high school tryout. High School players will be given first consideration for roster spots unless the 8 th grade athlete falls under the exceptional athlete rule. NOTE: The high school team is significantly more physical and intense than a youth program. Most middle school students will thrive in a MS based program more than playing up. It is our wish that the LNHS program be comprised of competitive high school athletes and that MS involvement become the exception rather than the rule. 7 th grade students will not be invited to tryout unless they fit the exceptional athlete rule and meet a series of physical fitness and skill tests.

Every little bit makes you an integral part of our success. More volunteers means less work piled on anyone. Use your strengths to help make us great! Just as no one player can carry a team, no one parent can carry the load of work that goes on behind the scenes.
