(Southampton services) • • • • X 3 open access drop-in centres offering Information, Advice Counselling, Advocacy and Support services for all young people under 26 Floating Support services for young people 16 -25 (housing support) DASH – drug alcohol support and health for 11 -18’s Teen Safehouse, 13 -19 (referral through No Limits or CAMHs) Anger Management groups (Under 16’s and Over 16’s) Health and well-being drop-ins in all 3 colleges and 8 secondary schools in Southampton. Bright Beginnings – working with young pregnant families or babies up to age of 2 Next Steps – young offenders, care leavers and carers Miss U & U Turn sexual exploitation project 8 -18 (25 if a Care Leaver) Advocacy to Looked After Children and Young People, Care Leavers and ‘Children and Young people in need’ aged 10 -21 Street Safe – no 2 nd night out (housing & homelessness) Website Email and telephone support 3

So what do we really do? (Hampshire services) • Just 4 U Project – Advocacy and Independent Visiting to Children and young people in care, or leaving care. Hampshire wide project including sessions at Swanick Lodge Secure Unit. • Health & Wellbeing drop-ins in schools and colleges in Eastleigh • A 2 T in Eastleigh • Website, email telephone support • Breakout (Hampshire and Southampton) Host the Youth Group for LGBT young people aged 11 -21 • Next Steps – supporting young carers/care leavers & young offenders in transition • Right 2 B Safe – Hampshire wide one-2 -one work with young people at risk of / or experiencing neglect, abuse, sexual exploitation 4

Ethos of No Limits • Safeguarding children, young people & vulnerable adults. • Quick and easy access to specialist services • Non-judgmental, confidential services which are all free to young people under the age of 26 • All parts of the service integrated to offer young people a full package of support • Work together as a team to support each other and the young people who use our service • Offer information, advice, support, advocacy and counselling to help young people make their own informed decisions about their own lives. 5

No Limits is a YIACS (youth information advice & counselling service) Open to all young people, YIACS offer a universal access point to targeted and specialist services, supporting young people on a diverse range of issues that are frequently inter-related: • social welfare issues e. g. benefits, housing, debt, employment • mental & emotional health issues e. g. depression, low selfesteem, self-harm, family problems & stress • wider personal and health issues e. g. relationships, sexual health, drugs & alcohol, healthy eating and access to leisure pursuits • practical issues e. g. careers, money management, independent living skills http: //youthaccess. org. uk/ 6
