LITTLE MARKET LESSON A lesson about how to count money.
Objective The objective of this lesson is for students to learn how to count and use money correctly. Students will make and sell food products out of paper to sell to other students or if at home sell to other family members. Run your little market for 2 hours if you are doing the assignment at home. It is important for students to learn how to count and use money because they will use is in their everyday life.
Materials Teachers will need: Paper Scissors Glue Markers, Fake paint, crayons, colored pencils or real money
Steps Step 1 - Students need to make the food products they would like to sell at their market. Step 2 - Make a sign for your market and hung it up. Step 3 - Set up your little mini market and have fun!

Wrap up After the time is up close your market. And clean up. Write a short paper about how well your market did. Your short paper should include: what you learned, what sold and what didn’t sell, how well you did with making change, and counting money.
