Little League Newsletter April 2020 Hasbrouck Heights Little League We are a 100% volunteer organization with its guiding principle to teach boys and girls the wonderful games of baseball and softball. Little League Important Although we all have to practice social distancing, parents can still work with their kids on the basics and fundamentals of the game. Upcoming Season HHLL hopes everyone is staying healthy and safe during this trying time. As you’re all aware by now, Little League International has suspended all activities until May 11 th. HHLL is working behind the scenes to make this transition as easy as possible for the players and parents. One way or another we are going to try to have a season this year. Updates and decisions are rapidly changing, we will try our best to keep everyone informed. Things you can do at HOME: • • • Travel Baseball Unfortunately, Spring Travel (NEBAS) has been cancelled this year. We are looking into potential Summer and Fall Travel leagues for the kids. Tube Videos Here are some You. Tube Videos to check out: The HHLL Board is going to take advantage of this time to accomplish tasks that we haven’t been able to get to over the last couple years. Uniforms and equipment for this season have been purchased. In addition, we are continuing to do field maintenance and cleanups on the Major, Minor and Tee Ball Fields. We are still hoping to have our annual fundraisers at some point during the season.
