HISTORY Television came into life of lithuaninas only in April of 1957, when TV center in Vilnius was activated. The first shown programme was a movie “Tėviškėje” (Homeland). At that time there were about 30 TV’s in Lithuania, but til the end of year the number grew to 1500.
