Introduction

Fireplace Xtrordinair is manufactured in a 477, 000 square foot state of the art facility called the “House of Fire”. The House of Fire is the largest privately owned manufacturer of hearth products in the United States. It employs up to 600 people and is located in Mukilteo just thirty minutes north of Seattle Washington. Fireplace Xtrordinair is backed by factory trained local dealers, that will help you and your customers choose the right size of heating appliance and ensure that it is properly installed and serviced for optimum enjoyment for years to come.

Fireplace Xtrordinair Model Overview • 12 models and 6 sizes of fireplaces from our small Bed & Breakfast portrait model to our large 6015 High Output linear model. • They are all Heater Rated fireplaces heating areas from 650 square feet up to 2, 800 square feet

Common Applications Residential and commercial applications both inside and out. We have a size and heating range to fit any and every room in the house. From small zonal heat to whole home heat depending on your customers needs. FPX fireplaces are also approved for covered outdoor installation expanding the footprint of the home to the outdoors with both heat and ambiance.

Co-Linear Direct Vent System ALL Fireplace Xtrordinair fireplaces use a natural draft direct vent system to vent the fireplace. A direct vent system is a sealed combustion system separate from the envelope of the home, keeping indoor air quality at its peak. Direct vent is a pipe within a pipe that naturally draws air into the fireplace from outside the home to the fireplace for combustion through the outer wall of the pipe and vents all exhaust out through the interior pipe. Although negative pressure is common in both residential (especially newer air-tight homes) and commercial spaces, it has no effect on the fireplace because of the ultra-efficient air direct vent technology.

All FPX Fireplaces Exceed the New 2015 Glass Barrier Standard Glass Safety Screen Safety is always a concern, especially if your clients have small children in the home. The new glass standard requires screening in front of the glass if any portion of the glass reaches temperatures of 172˚F (78˚C) or more. This is to protect little hands from making direct contact with bare glass. Our high heat output fireplaces feature durable Ceramic Glass that offers incredible heat transfer while passing stringent safety testing. To preserve the beauty of the fire we’ve designed screens that attach over the glass but virtually disappear from sight. We want our fires and our beautiful designer faces to be the focal point of your customers home.

Fireplace Configurations: Clean Face The FPX clean face fireplaces feature a dynamic view of the fire, your fireplace finishes and your art. This time it is not about decorator faces and finishes its all about the beauty of the fire and the realism of the faux wood logs and embers All four linear units and two of the traditional styles are available in a clean face design.

Fireplace Configurations: Architectural Faces Fireplace Xtrordinair offers a wide range of face options for your customers to add a beautiful focal point to their home. From hand hammered faces to double door faces, something for every architectural style and home. The Portrait and Traditional fireplaces offer a variety of face options. Even the linear models have a Gallery Face option.

Fireplace Configurations: Single-Sided The single-sided fireplace lends itself to a wide range of applications and has the ability to complement any living space. Shown here is our Rectangle Double Doors one of eight face options available Both the linear and traditional heater rated FPX fireplaces are available in single sided design

Fireplace Configurations: See-Through A see-through design can serve as a stylish viewing window between two rooms, or provide a breathtaking display of fire to the center of large rooms and living spaces. Fireplace Xtrordinair offers two See. Through models; one linear (4415 See-Thru) and one traditional (864 See-Thru).

Fireplace Configurations: Portrait This portrait style Bed & Breakfast fireplace is ideal for smaller rooms. Both its footprint size and heating ability lends itself perfectly to bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens up to 650 square feet. Fire Base Options: Stone and Log Art The overall look of the fireplace can be transformed using pieces crafted from driftwood and time-worn stone, offering the most detailed and realistic media available. Driftwood Log Set Twig and Stone Set We offer media options for our linear models and the 564 HO fireplace – allowing your customer to further personalize their design.

Fire Base Choices: Fireplace Lining & Glass All of our fireplaces offer multiple liner options from reflective black enamel to beautiful hand made brick. Adding realism to the fireplace or personalizing to your clients home design or taste. The linear models and the 564 HO with Diamond-Fyre burner also offer glass choices for the floor of the firebox. Fire Options: Custom Trim Finishes The trim options feature hammered, textured surfaces and intricate detailing that provides a stunning accent to the fire. Though Fireplace Xtrordinair is manufactured in a state of the art 477, 000 square foot facility in Washington, these trims are actually “hand hammered” on an anvil for the best texture and custom finish possible. The trim is available in hand-rubbed bronze patina or aged steel finish as shown. These finishes are unique to FPX and hand applied by skilled artisans. The patina is absorbed deep into the metal, giving a rich luster and imparting a unique look with no two finishes exactly alike.
