What is a line graph? • A line graph is a type of chart which shows information as a series of data points called 'markers' connected by a line. • We use line graphs to show us how the amount of something changes over time. Click here for video

• It is important to always label your graph • Include a relevant title • Make sure you can see the data points clearly

It is important that the amount side always starts at 0 From there you count up each line. Make sure you count to the highest number in the data. Otherwise the data won’t fit on the chart!

• To read a line graph you go to the point at which 2 lines meet. • If you start at Monday(MON) and go up the line to the data point. You will see it meets the number 6! • You can do this with each day to see the number of visitors for each day.
