What is a Value? l l l To Value (verb) to consider with respect to worth, excellence, usefulness, or importance. A Value (noun) relative worth, merit, or importance. Tangible v. Abstract values. What do we value in American Society? Create a list of “values. ”
How to Debate Values l l Can you value one thing above another? Can two values clash? • Autonomy v. Understanding the Resolution l l To decide a value, you must analyze first!
