PURPOSE Our Program PURPOSE is different than our GOALS Our purpose is to use the sport of football to help educate these young people and to help them to grow as students, as individuals, as teammates, as citizens. My purpose is to facilitate, maintain, and promote a culture in which student-athletes consistently demonstrate the qualities of great teammates.

UNDERSTAND THIS MESSAGE THE TEAM COMES FIRST. Every decision that is made will be based on the good of the team rather than on the wishes of individuals. EXPECTATIONS ARE UNIFORM THROUGHOUT THE PROGRAM. There is no room for any behavior that draws attention to the individual.
Practice is important. Every day your child will learn something. Each week of the season we play a different opponent that will do different things on offense, defense, and special teams than the opponent the prior week.

Lightning Football Dress Requirements Document in Packet Black is a good color to wear/purchase We want to look like a team 10 th – 12 th UNIFORM CARE: Please DO NOT WASH your son’s uniform. After each game they will be collected and washed by the coaching staff.
