AGILITY The ability to change body position and direction quickly and efficiently. n Key activities such as: basketball, soccer, racquet sports, skiing, ect: any sport/activity you need to change direction quickly. n

BALANCE The ability to maintain the body in proper equilibrium. n Key in activities such as: gymnastics, diving, skating, skiing, football, wrestling etc. . n Stork Balance Stand Test n

COORDINATION n n n The integration of the nervous and the muscular systems to produce correct, graceful, and harmonious body movements. Key in wide variety of activities: golf, basketball, baseball, soccer, karate – anywhere hand – eye- foot movements must be integrated. Soda Pop Test

POWER The ability to produce maximum force in the shortest time. n By c 0 ombining power, speed and force (strength) – allows a person to produce explosive movements: jumping, shot put, spiking/throwing/hitting a ball. n Standing Long Jump Test n

Muscular endurance-The ability of a muscle or muscle group to exert submaximal force repeatedly over a period of time.

Flexibility The ability to move a joint through its complete ROM, or range of motion

Body Composition Used to describe the percentages of fat, bone and muscle in human bodies.
