Safety Rule #1 Leave materials alone until the teacher explains how to use them!

How do I use the Eye Wash? Eye wash is on back counter o Remove yellow covers o Turn on COLD water o Pull knob & hold eyes over water

Safety Rule #10 Horseplay is NEVER allowed. Don’t play around in lab!

Safety Rule #11 Wear safety goggles o Safety Goggles are worn to protect your eyes o They should be worn when using chemicals, heat, or glass

Safety Rule #12 Know how to use lab equipment. If something breaks, STOP and tell the teacher! o Carry equipment with both hands.

Safety Rule #13 Dispose of trash properly & Never take anything from lab. o Never put anything in the sink without permission.
