• Does the career of your choice require a college degree? If so, which type? • College is not for everyone —and that’s okay.

COLLEGE BOUND? ▫ ▫ ▫ Fill out applications completely - if you don't know how to answer a question, ask for help! Start applying for scholarships TODAY! College may cost more than you think. ▫ ▫ ▫ Complete your FAFSA as soon as possible – or during school-wide FAFSA days. Visit as many colleges as possible, you never know what you will think. You don't have to start at a 4 -Year college/university.

JOB APPLICATION TIPS

COMPLETE the entire application! If you don’t know how to answer something, ask someone – NEVER leave it blank. SIGNATURE in the appropriate places, don’t forget! CHECK to make sure you have assembled everything that is required and completed the application.

Interviews Become familiar with the company you’re interviewing with. Have multiple copies of your resume. Turn your cell phone OFF. Or leave it in the car! Do NOT be late! Give yourself extra time in case of traffic, car trouble, etc.
