Aim of the upgrade The aim of the upgrade is to harmonize the SPS installation of this prototype LHC BLM system with the rest of the BLM systems. Hardware Update hardware to the LHC versions: New processing cards (BLETC) § Minor modification in the receiver part New front-end CPU § MAN 20 (Intel based) with LINUX All changes foreseen only for the Processing crate.
