Initial Cable Testing o Timescale: o o o Tile Calorimeter trigger cables ~Oct 2005 to early 2006 Liquid Argon cables Jan 2006 to mid 2006 Delicate Analogue signals Need to check integrity, crosstalk, calibration, timing etc Currently uses standalone tools o o ROD crate DAQ like readout Private database code o We hope to improve tools: o o 27 th November, 2005 More automation Interface to proper database Full ROD crate DAQ Histograms Stephen Hillier 3

Full System Installation o o Timescale: Jan to mid-2006 Monitoring Requirements similar to current lab tests o o Histograms o o Just on a larger scale Produced by ROD crates Produced from ROS event sampling Archiving might start to be useful Effort needed (by us!) o o New eformat interface Move to GNAM 27 th November, 2005 Stephen Hillier 4
