Work Experience • You are also required to take part in 150 hours of work experience and complete a portfolio as part of the programme. • This can be anything related to animal care! • The 150 hours are counted September – May • Best begin asking now to avoid missing out on something that you would like!

What will you need in September? • Stationary: • Pens, paper, a folder to keep your work organised • Personal protective equipment (PPE): • Boiler suit/overalls for outdoor work • Apron for indoor work • Sensible footwear only on practical

What then? • After successful completion of the 540 programme, you have to opportunity to continue your studies with us, and complete the second year of the qualification: • Level 3 Advanced Extended Technical Diploma in Animal Management 1080 • This has two pathways to choose from: • Science • Animal Management
