What is Heart Rate? �Find your pulse. �Count the number of beats while your partner times 1 minute. Write down your result �This is your heart rate in beats per minute (bpm) �We call this your ‘resting’ heart rate. �To get an accurate result: measure it 3 times, then calculate a mean average.
