Level 0. 3/0. 5 • Level 0. 3 is the Quicklook data product. It is not a final product, but rather a fast, “best estimate so far” product. • Level 0. 3 combines : – The image – Image status packet – Mech table lookup values – Selected telemetry from the Sequencer & Thermal data packets – Flight Dynamics orbit information – Selected telemetry from the Space Vehicle’s Ancillary Science Data packet – Selected commanding data used to interpolate likely positional values of the instrument • Level 0. 3 is expected as Quicklook data a few minutes after receipt of telemetry • Level 0. 5 is the final product of the above elements. It includes all actual positions, orbits, velocities and telemetry. Used for Level 1 data. • May be 1 -2 days (or more in unusual cases) to finalize Level 0. 5 JSOC Review – 5 November 2007 Page 1

Ancillary & Housekeeping Data SDO Spacecraft Housekeeping • • • In the Ancillary Science Data Packet Includes: Eclipse flags, best estimate of attitude quaternion, quaternion from inertial to sun reference frame, ephemeris model time Available in 24 -hour dayfiles, and streaming in from the SOC via socket Flight Dynamics System data • • • Covers orbit predictions and spacecraft position and velocities Comes with several weeks’ worth of position predictions. Will be sent to us again if actual is not within error tolerance of predicted position. Available weekly for pickup Commands • Needed for Quicklook products Telemetry • • Will include Image, Image Status Packet and Mech Table conversions as Level 0. 1 Still need to determine which telemetry of the Sequencer and Thermal packets to include Final telemetry list will be largely determined by the Level 1. 5 product - still in development Other space vehicle telemetry may also be required beyond the ASDP.
