Comparatives are used to compare two people or two things. Example, Ecuador is smaller

Comparatives are used to compare two people or two things. Example, Ecuador is smaller than Colombia. Reading is more interesting than watching TV.

For this purpose we divide adjectives into short or long SHORT ( one syllable

For short adjectives we make the comparative form by adding -er, examples: smaller taller
