They were shocked to find him talking to a woman, but none of them had the nerve to ask, “What do you want with her? ” or “Why are you talking to her? ” 28 The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, 29“Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! III. CONVERSATION Exodus 33: 11 a. NLT Inside the Tent of Meeting, the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. John 21: 7 -13 NLT 7 Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his tunic (for he had stripped for work), jumped into the water, 8 and headed to shore. The others stayed with the boat and pulled the loaded net to the 9 shore, for they were only about a hundred yards from shore. When they got there, they found breakfast waiting 10 for them—fish cooking over a charcoal fire, and some bread. “Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught, ” 11 Jesus said. So Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net to the 12 shore. There were 153 large fish, and yet the net hadn’t torn. “Now come and have some breakfast!” Jesus said. None of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you? ” They 13 knew it was the Lord. Then Jesus served them the bread and the fish. Luke 24
