Present Perfect Continuous vs PP and Past S. • PPC is used to talk about situation in the past and are still going on in the present or that have just stopped and have present result. • EXAMPLE: I have been going to gym classes. • PP is used to talk about situations that have started in the past and continued to the moment of speaking (for/since) or that haven’t finished long ago (lately/recently). • EXAMPLE: I have gone to gym classes recently. • Past S is used to talk about situations that are finished. • EXAMPLE: I went to gym classes yesterday.
