Aims SWBAT choose a cultural conflict that interests them based on prior knowledge. SWBAT generate an essential question based on their cultural topic of choice.
Cultural Conflict: Examples Definition: When two or more cultures collide to create a conflict based on issues of land, religion, etc. Examples: Israelis vs. Palestinians, Columbus and the Arawak, The French and Indian War, American Soldiers in Afghanistan, the KKK vs. Liberal leaning Americans, Colonists vs. the British, Crusaders vs. the Turks, etc.
