You will prepare to write an essay that will prove something about a character from a piece of fiction.
You have received a list of common characteristics that can be proven about a literary figure. These are not the only words that describe characters, but are some of the most commonly used.
The first thing we’re going to do is look at the information or description an author reveals about a literary figure. Information is given to you in what the character says, does, thinks, and what the narrator or other characters tell you about the character.
After viewing the next slide, offer some information or description about Jesse that you could fill in on the left column.
