Forming ER Verbs Regular –er verbs eg danser (to dance) INFINTIVE = danser Take off the –er and add the following endings: I- Je dans e You - Tu dans es We- Nous dans ons You all- Vous dans ez He/she/we - Il/elle/on dans e They- Ils/elles dans ent Eg. . COMMON ER VERBS visiter – to visit acheter – to buy cuisiner – to cook jeter - to throw manger – to eat jouer - to play gagner – to win / earn parler - to talk / speak marcher – to walk adorer – to love chanter – to sing écouter – to listen nager – to swim laver – to wash detester – to dislike regarder – to watch dessiner – to draw trouver – to find **Remember to drop the –er and add the correct endings. Eg. . She visits her friends – elle visite ses amis. They play at the park – ils jouent au parc.
