Protection q Leopards are very strong and powerful so they can fight other predators. q They can use camouflage to hide from predators and also to hunt there prey. q They use their teeth and claws to protect themselves and their family. q They climb trees so predators can’t get them.

What do they eat Ø Leopards kill their prey and at night time and they come back and eat it in the morning. Ø In the daytime leopards catch fish. Ø The others animals like monkeys and baboons take longer to catch. Ø The most easiest to catch is deer.
What does it look like • • Leopards are 28 inches up to the shoulder. They are 3 to 6 feet long. Males weigh between 82 and 200 pounds. Chinese leopards have a mane like lions.
Interesting facts ü They are able to jump more then 20 feet. ü They can eat anything that they find. ü They also live up to 21 years. ü Unlike cats leopards are excellent swimmers.
