Obedience and Jesus 5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. 7 Then I said, 'Behold, I have come--In the volume of the book it is written of Me--To do Your will, O God. '" Heb. 10: 5 -7

Yet ear, but followed the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward. Jer. 7: 23 -24

Obedience in Jeremiah 26 Yet they did not obey Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck. They did worse than their fathers. Therefore you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not obey you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you. So you shall say to them, This is a nation that does not obey the voice of the Lord their God nor receive correction. Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth. Jer. 7: 26 -28

Jer. 11: 3 -4
