FEELIN’ RIGHT VS. LOOKIN’ GOOD The most beautiful rooms are often perfectly balanced compositions of a number of different elements, and you probably wouldn't be surprised to know that when one of those elements isn't quite right, a room might feel a bit "off. "

REASON 4: LIGHT Lack of natural light can make a room seem smaller, stuffy and claustrophobic—you might not be able to knock out a wall, but you can: • • Place mirrors strategically Use reflective surfaces Use sheer or lighter window treatments Ceilings slighter than walls (Dark walls with a bright ceiling make a room oppressive) • Clean your windows!
