Collaboratively Create Intervention Plans Branching Minds helps by creating a platform that allows us to: • Work together to measure improvement • Review established student goals • Analyze the effectiveness of intervention activities • Use curated resources in the Branching Minds library • Track our progress
Add a Goal 1. Click on the green plus icon next to Goals and Progress Monitors. 1. Decide when the goal needs to be met 1. Determine and describe a measurable and achievable learning goal 1. Assign the goal to teacher(s) who will monitor the activities intended to accomplish that goal
Selecting and Adding an Intervention or Accommodation Interventions recommended based on: • Student’s grade performance level • Student’s tier level • Evidence base matches student learning needs Select interventions based on: • Specific Insight Survey results • Learning activity type
Make the Intervention Selection Process Easier 1 2 To narrow the selection: 1. Search for a specific student you wish to find supports for, and then filter by his/her identified challenge areas. 2. Search for small groups or whole classes using the blue filters 3. Select the heart icon to see only your favorite supports 3
Determine Dosage of Intervention • Plan start and end date • One-on-one or or group support • Frequency • Modifications (if applicable) • Teacher(s) responsible for implementation
Efficiently Adding Progress Monitors You can select: • The week to administer the assessment • The goal score for end of intervention cycle • Any specifications • Who will administer the assessment
Keeping Us Organized and On Track • Receive email notification when intervention is assigned • Assigned tasks populate to-do list • Everyone will receive a Friday Reminder Email
