Learning for everyone… Aims and Objectives The aim of this presentation is to deliver underpinning knowledge for the defined learning outcome. The objective is to enhance learning and subject knowledge to allow formal assessment of the detailed assessment criteria within the detailed learning outcome. Wherever possible links to Equality and Diversity will be embedded.

Ø Different types of information may be able to be stored in different ways dependant on the Information Requirements. This relates to the need to keeps some types of information safe and away from general access

This relates to the needs of the information! Is it internal information generated within the organisation? Ø Is it external information generated by other sources? Ø Is the information secure and needs to be stored safely away from general access? Ø Is the information personal, secret, relating to accounts, payroll etc. Ø Is the information about marketing, customer service and need distributing widely?

Ø Is it cloud based or held on a server? Ø How is the information organised and stored dependant on its own needs? Ø How is information retrieved? Ø How is the information archived? Ø Is the information data Protected?
