What do sexual abusers do to children?

What should you DO if someone tries to abuse you?
THE BIG THREE What to do in case of sexual abuse 1. SAY NO. 2. GET AWAY. 3. TELL SOMEONE YOU TRUST (Keep telling until someone listens. ) ***Never accuse someone if it isn’t true. ***
What does a person who has been (or is being) sexually abused NEED TO KNOW?
God loves you! You are good. The abuse is bad. Sexual abuse is not your fault.
Sexual abuse is like a serious wound that needs to be healed. The wound won’t go away. It will fester if you don’t deal with it.
Talk to someone you trust. Keep talking until you find someone who can help you heal.
? ? ? KEEP A SECRET? ? ? What if a friend tells you about being abused, and makes you promise not to tell anyone?
This is a secret you can NOT keep. You MUST get help for your friend. Talk to an adult you can TRUST who will find the help your friend needs.
