Feelings in your Body The emotional part of your brain tells your body what to do. ANTS IN YOUR PANTS, you just can’t sit still; you need to keep moving because your nerves are super active. BUTTERFLIES, you may have a fluttering feeling in your tummy. BLUSHING - when embarrassed, your face may feel hot and tingly for a moment. SWEATING is your body’s way of cooling itself down when you feel worried or disgusted SHAKING - If you feel afraid, nervous or even excited, your hands and body may start shake as extra energy is sent out to other parts of your body. CRYING - you may cry when you are angry, afraid, embarrassed or even really happy. This what we call a cathartic release of emotions.
