More Than Just a Game Remember the Titans is more than just a good football movie. It’s the story of two diverse groups putting aside their differences and dislikes and coming together to win a championship.

Things to look for as you watch • How did playing football help the students overcome their prejudices about each other? • Would the team have bonded had it not won? • Have you had a teacher, or a coach who inspired you to do your best? How did they do it?

Don’t just WATCH the movie Look for examples of character. Watch the characters grow and change. Notice the pillars of character. Think about how you would feel if you were one of the people involved. • Who do you most relate to in the movie? • •
